The most important factor in any design is… You! Whether or not you think you have “style”, we feel one of the most important parts of the design process is designing a space that fits our clients. When we meet with prospective clients we spend time trying to learn about and understand each person’s style, wants and needs for a space. Once we understand what our clients are looking for, we use our experience and diverse group of vendors to design a functional space that our clients will be excited to show off.
This is where the fun starts, for us and you! After our initial meeting, we take everything we learned and get to work designing your space. From paint colors to wallpaper, window treatments to floor coverings and sofas to case goods we work to find the pieces that fit your style and work for your lifestyle. We communicate with our clients throughout this process, showing them options and sharing ideas. The layout begins to take shape, and the general concepts of the design are formed.
Turning the vision into a reality. Most people think that an interior designer’s work stops at the design. This is not the case. It’s important to us that your vision for your space matches the final product and we are as hands on as necessary to make sure that happens. Typically, we help our clients select a contractor from our trusted group of contractors that we trust and have experience working with then help manage your project to its completion. We schedule the builders, painters and other installers while also coordinating furniture deliveries and making sure everything is done to your exact specifications.
The hard work is done! Walls are up and painted, the flooring is down and looking better than you imagined, now its time to add the finishing touches that really make a great space your space. We’ll use a mix your pictures or precious family keepsakes and accessories we pick especially for your project to turn your new space into “your space”. It isn’t just important to us that you love the look of your new space, but that you feel like its “home”. This is also usually the part where you start asking us about your next project!
